Principal Investigator
MD, DMSc, PhD — Clinical Professor, University of Copenhagen
Clinical professor and specialist in psychiatry. Heads an intensive affective disorders unit at Mental Health Center Copenhagen and leads the NID-Group. His research focuses on chronotherapeutic augmentation strategies for depression, including bright light therapy, dynamic LED lighting, wake therapy, and sleep time stabilisation.
Principal Investigator, Astrotech
PhD Electrical Engineering (Photonics) — Co-founder & CSO, OptoCeutics
Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of OptoCeutics. Principal Investigator of the Horizon 2020 Astrotech project. His PhD research at DTU on photonics and high-speed holographic laser printing earned the European Innovation Radar Prize for Excellent Science in 2018. Leads development of the invisible spectral flicker technology used in FELIX.
Co-Investigator
Professor — Technical University of Denmark
Expert in photonics engineering and light technology. Co-conceived the FELIX study approach combining light technology with psychiatric treatment.
Neurocognition Lead
Professor — Copenhagen University Hospital
Designed the neurocognitive test battery for the study. Specialist in cognition and emotion in affective disorders.
